She is the little heartbeat at our feet. Ever since we rescued her from the shelter, Bela's been at our side. A little needy at first, she's grown from
an anxious little puppy to a playful and affectionate two-year old dog. Her main activities include sleeping, organizing her various toys, and splitting her
time between our studio, the house and her yard. Content to squeeze between us on the couch, catch a nap while driving, or lay across our toes while we work,
it's hard to imagine what life would be without her.
"Bela" means beautiful in Portuguese, and despite any suspicions to the contrary she is not
named for Bela Lugosi! Though, by the way she likes to toot her toys, maybe we should have called her Harpo.
